Minister Mildred Wilson has been active on the Mission field for over 15 years. She is a firm believer in answering the question: How will they know if they have no one to teach them or to tell them the story of Christ and salvation? Her desire is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His word of encouragement, strength and empowerment. It has been her vision to expand her work through the opportunities afforded her in Africa, South Asia, Jamaica, the Middle East and the Caribbean. Locally, her work with the homeless population in New York and the DC Metropolitan area has helped her understand her role as a leader for others.
Her vision is to spread the gospel throughout the nation, in communities and families throughout the world. Although hard times, illness, loss, injuries, violence, and aging, affect us all, Minister Wilson believes the gospel can make a difference and provide hope and direction. Spreading God’s message of love and “learning to trust the Lord” will transform people and build their faithfulness in the Lord.
She follows her own path: introduce the love of Christ; starting with the individual; that love moves into the family, the community, and the nation. God’s love makes a difference and his story impacts others as it is told, and can equip the listener to make the right choice to follow HIM! Minister Mildred Wilson in Knowing God’s great desire is for none to be lost, accepts the command to GO and to mentor and help train others to be Fishers of men.
